Since their
critically acclaimed self-titled debut in 1995, the American-Scottish
band Garbage have solidified themselves as alt-rock royalty. Fronted by
the cool-voiced Shirley Manson, the band’s creeptastic sound melded
subgenres from shoegaze to grunge, and ultimately grew more pop-leaning
as the years went on. Next month, the band releases its first album in
